“Television and Radio Broadcasting Network of Armenia” CJSC (TRBN) is the national operator responsible for Armenia’s television and radio broadcasting infrastructure. Established in 1957, the Company has played a central role in developing and maintaining a unified broadcasting system across the country.

In 2011, by a decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, TRBN was entrusted with the creation, maintenance, and operation of Armenia’s state-owned digital broadcasting network. Operating under the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the Company has since led the country’s transition to modern broadcasting technologies. Since 2016, Armenia’s fully operational digital television system has been based on the DVB-T2 standard, delivering high-quality audio-visual services along with advanced features such as the Electronic Program Guide (EPG).

TRBN’s mission is to develop and manage reliable broadcasting infrastructure, provide terrestrial broadcasting and telecommunications services, and support partner organizations through technical installation and maintenance. Through its work, the Company ensures continuous, high-quality transmission while contributing to the advancement of modern communication technologies and strengthening the connection between the state and society.

With a vision to become Armenia’s leading digital broadcasting organization, TRBN is focused on achieving nationwide coverage of high-quality digital television and radio services. Its strategic priorities include the introduction of DAB+ digital radio, ongoing modernization of broadcasting infrastructure, enhancement of the national TV tower as a technological landmark, expansion of international partnerships, and the implementation of transparent and efficient management practices.
